DIY Lowering Springs without Spring Compressor?

You should be able to do the rears without a spring compressor by undoing the strut at the axle and swinging the axle down. Tight squeeze but I'm sure you'll be able to do it with your hands. As already mentioned though it's mental trying to properly compress a spring without the right tools. If the springs unloads then you can pretty much say cheerybye to having a head. -

I use valet pro ph neutral snow foam with a karcher HD lance and it works brilliantly. For tar I use autosmart tardis and the tar just drops off -
