  1. Possibly but if it was me i wouldn't risk it in case any of it started to sag and you had to take it all out again.
  2. To get the carpet out you just remove absolutely everything. It will takes days to write a full how to on it. I did it in my last lupo cos of a leak and if you just take your time everything comes out easily enough.
  3. Chances are i'm gonna look like a giant fanny but what is it you're actually wanting to carpet?

    aerial upgrade help

*Just in case anyone gets stuck* When i bought my car it already had a shark fin aerial but the guy didn't know how to wire it up. After a lot of fannying about we figured we needed a raku to a fakra (it was a year ago but im sure that's what the connections were). You can't buy this so you need to buy the connections separately and splice them.
  5. AG HD wax is awesome. Expensive but worth it imo as it looks brilliant and lasts ages.
  6. You need to take off the trim ubder the dash by pretty much just looking for screws...there's loads of them. Once that's off you'll be able to feed the wire from the back of the hu, into the footwell and then under the carpets to the boot
  7. ^^agreed. Would still stay away from the shite halfords sell though.
  8. Yeah you can fit it without chopping anything. Mines is only chopped to make it look better
  9. Nah it was taken off to fit the bmc then stuck back on with a bit chopped out haha
  10. On my gti i've got a bmc but kept the cover on. Just chopped a section out
  11. I would also be keen to find out the answer to this
  12. Use the search function...?
  13. If you need camber then get camber. If you don't need camber then don't get camber.
  14. Yeah, if you're a pikey. If you want real lows without being a smelly hippy buy some custom rear springs from demontweeks or somewhere similair. I went for 2.25" diameter, 220lbs/inch and 6.5" length (99% sure the were 6.5" anyway)
  15. When you go down to halfords just look in the booklet for the right one?
  16. As above really but I use bilberry wheel cleaner. Works ridiculously well especially when using a pressure washer too
  17. Ah right a crossover filter is just a crossover! Now I get it haha.
  18. Best posting in the classifieds mate
  19. I'm probably gonna look like a fanny but what's a crossover filter
  20. Comps are easy man, just a pos and neg for both the tweeter and woofer that go to the crossover and then a pos and neg from the crossover to the head unit. You could defo handle it buddy!!
