If you copy and paste the 'img' code mate it'll put the picture in the thread for you instead of a link. Once you've got it copied and pasted you can preview your post to see if its worked before sticking it on the board for all to see.

It was a custom job the previous owner did mate, I believe its mainly for show, got a fabia rs rear roll bar to do all the hard work! Has anyone got any 'how to' info or any pics to give me a basis to crack on with whats been suggested??

At the mo it looks like this Was just wondering what I should do with the back end, carpet it out totally or strip it or what? Any photos of other interiors that could inspire me a little? And while I'm at it has anyone got any pics of gti engine bays that have been tarted up abit, need to find summat to keep me busy!! Fanx!!!

Isn't it near the tank mate?? Offside of it? If I had mine over the pit I'd tell ya. Unless there is another one further up to run off the engine.Figured the pump and the filter are kinda close together.

Bit late to the mag feature but tesco had one left right at the back slumped half way behind a camping mag (grrrr!!), but well done john, I've always thought you were either a turbine fabricator, a rocket scientist or a brain surgeon to be able to pull off all the work involved and have the money to do it all, and I wasn't really that far off!! Ok, I'm wanting to paint my original GTI alloys, going for either white or black, or both!! Now at the mo they're in their original silver with a few scuffs here and there. Am I right in thinking this is the best plan of attack? -Remove tyres from wheels -Strip old paint from wheels -Smooth off scuffs as best as possible to leave a decent finish -Give the wheels two or three coats of metal primer -Give the wheels two or three coats of selected colour -Give the wheels two or three coats of lacquer -Refit tyres Am I missing anything or got anything wrong?? Fanx!

I think if your looking at fitting laughing gas mate your gonna wanna beef up your internals, forge pistons etc, and if you can afford all that I'd be more interested in looking at a conversion if I were you, get alot more than 25hp up grade then! Its not vital but like a lot of mods if your going to do it you wanna do it right.
