Ok damn.. I thought it might just be the wrong fuse !! I need the car tomorrow as well!!

It's the fuse in the fuse box in the engine bay for the radiator fan

Hi Ive heard a lot of differering options on what value should be in the fuse box on the right side of the engine .. some say 20a some say 30A some say 40a my gti has 20a and keeps blowing when the fan kicks in. The fan moves and works. just had a new radiator fitted too. Is the 20a fuse wrong? cheers

They said the anti roll bar is corroded around the bush area ?Check in 12 months so it can't be that bad. cost of replacement and fitting £208.

Apparrently the right side has corroded

.... the gti is approaching 100,000 miles....and cars are pretty much worthless at 100..? anyone else getting to the big 100?? think I might celebrate that the car still works!!

Hi all so I've tried a few different types of led sidelights from eBay but none seem to be any good , just not bright enough.. anyone got a good set? Also anyone know how to get a bulb out that has fallen inside the reflection light itself?? cheers Alex

I agree, I much prefer the neutral colours.

Full service history, recent cambelt change would be good. for me I wanted to buy one from the first owner, with VW service history, 6 speed and it had to be standard with cloth interior ..Anything else would have been a bonus. theres a few around at the moment with higher mileage but there's a couple going for bargain prices. I really like silver, I know it's the most common colour but I think it's one of the nicest.

I had a GTI 2005 with 41000 on the clock, bought from vw das auto, one owner , it ended up being rotten underneath, vw themselves pointed it out, said it had been standing for too long with salt underneath, hence the low miles. I've seen this car for sale at the moment. I then got the GTI I have now at 77000 miles , one owner I checked throughly underneath all good, health checked by vw and they wanted to buy it off me. Condition is everything.

Hi, I know this should be in the ads section but this is urgent .......if they aren't collected by the weekend ,they are going in the bin! As I need the space. Genuine springs, pair, rusty but no cracks, my mechanic gave them back to me as he thought they could still be used. Genuine shocks , pair , one leaking , good for a spare? let me know, first come first served, the bin wants them and he'll get them by Monday if there's no replies.... cheers alex

Yes , I'd say to them they haven't followed procedure, so any fine is void as you thought it was stolen and reported the car as such.. failing that..Find out where it is , get in it and drive it away.

Maybe we can put together a list of brands that VW use as OEM , as obviously VW don't manufacture every part of a Lupo.... I'll start the ball rolling.. Lupo Gti OEM glass - Sekurit Clutch - SachS?
