Just wondering if anybody else has had this problem. When starting my Lupo GTI, the car starts fine but after about a second or two of it starting makes a screeching/whining noise for a couple of seconds. Spoke to a mechanic friend of mine and he said it sounds like the starter motor is sticking on slightly after the car has started, apparently its a common fault. Anyone had the same thing happen??
