Hi, I decided to change the spark plugs in my Lupo, so I went to buy new ones from the motor factors where they asked for the reg number and to my suprise the bloke behind the counter says it's going to cost you £48 for 4 spark plugs, I asked why and he said the spark plugs in your car are special ones which are platinum and would need to be ordered. Is this true or will normal spark plugs fit, if so will I notice a difference on MPG & performance. Thanks for your help.

All went well today and had it done in 4hrs, but a pain in the a**e, clutch is like brand new now, and seems to pull a lot better.

I think VW has worked me a flanker up, as when I spoke to the chap he said you need a brake pedal because the new modification pedal box wont take the brake pedal and if it does it will be all wonky, thanks

Can anyone tell me the link for the step by step instructions of the replacement of the pedal box. Mine has got today and just been to VW for a new one along with brake pedal. Thanks

My lupo is a 2001, 4 stud wheel, and the polo wheel is from a 2000 model 4 stud, the reason for this is that I just need a wheel for the spare, as the idiot who had the car before me looked like he ran into a curb about 20mph, so the spare has a V in the wheel where he hit the curb. So a spare is needed just incase I get a punchure, thanks all.

Hi, Does anyone know if I need to run a cable from my original radio/cassette/CD to my CD multi disc changer, or will there be a cable in the boot/under the seat etc. VW Lupo 2001, 1.0e Thanks all

Hi, thanks for the great write up on the central locking kit, I have just bought one of these after market kits, any chance of a picture of where the actuators go as I'm banging my head against a brick wall trying to work it out. Thanks
