in the manifold i think mate

Yer cos everyone has suggested it was but I thought it would of come up on the diagnosis. how much is a coil pack for me lupo?

but wouldn't that come up on the diagnosis ??

i've changed the ht leads and still the same thing no power over 3000 revs and EPC still comes on. took it to driftbridge VW garage and there going to call me this week to book me in for a proper diagnosis. But took it to another garage for 2nd opinion. so he pluged it in and done a diagnosis test but this time its come up with 4 differnt codes than when my mechanic did it. i told this mechanic that he said it sound like a ECU broke and he said we can keep on changin the sensors comin up but i could be wasting my money so he suggested i go to VW. anyone had this problem or had the ECU changed and how much??

Its the map sensor manifold absolute pressure. But got it back and light comes Back on when driven over 3500 revs. And I'm still in limp mod now because there is NO POWER and A LOT OF NOISE so its goin to the driftbridge VW garage on sat. Really pissed off just want my lupo back to normal.

he said he's changed the sensor but when you take the revs over 3000 the epc light comes back on any ideas. and i'll find out witch sensor it is tomorrow

my mechanic has said its the sensor down the manifold and he is going to replace it tomorrow. but he said it tricky to get to because he's gotta take the cam belt and other stuff off to get to it and it's £90 for the sensor and £100 for labour is fair price???

just rang my mechanic he's gonna plug it into the computer tomorrow for me. cheers anyway for most people's help

sorry for the spelling mistake. i was driving home from work and there was a noise when i went past 3000 revs. but no lack in power. the noise was like a hole in the exhaust but my lupo is not low and i dont go fast over speed bumps.so i pushed the throttle little bit harder and there was a little pop and the noise is louder and lacks alot of power the epc light cam on. didnt stall though.

im not low just standard but will it make the EPC if that did happen.

oil seem fine about half way on the stick but the engine is still warm. could it be the drive sharft?
