  1. Sorry about the delay have been away. Email is st10587@hotmail.com. Cheers steve
  2. Ok cool. At the moment im thinking any gearbox to get the car running is better than a dead lupo! The info on the ratio wpuld be helpful.
  3. Im in the process of trying to source a replacement gearbox for the lupo and im hitting a brick wall trying to find a sport gearbox. Anyone know the difference between the 75bhp etd gearbox and the 100bhp sport etb gearbox? Im guessing it will be ratios related rather than fitment but wondering if anyone can confirm? Thanks Steve
  4. Long shot but do you still have the gearbox?
  5. There is no need to touch the bleed nipple. The fronts are just push back so g clamp/large pair of grips will do. Just remember to release the reservoir cap and protect the piston face when pushing them back.
  6. Hi Steve, its easy to change. Its in the relay board behind the fusebox. Its relay 410 or 405 depending on engine etc. If you remove the lower dash trim on the drivers side it'll make life easier to get to once located just pull it out and push in the new one
  7. Hi I run a sport as a track car. You can't pull fuses on the air bag system as air bags are not fused. All you can do is remove all the airbags and control unit. As for the light, I split the clocks and removed the bulb from the PCB board so it goes through mots. I'm guessing you be running harness so just remove the old seat belts to loose the pretensions. I'm currently working on modding a wiring loom to loose all the extra plugs/powers from the loom. Just need a donar loom as the last loom I was sold the wrong loom. As for the abs its fuse number 8. I would have thought if your building a full on rally car you'd be better of ripping the lot out and running a racing pedal box. Hope that helps
  8. After doing a few more checks I have no power to number plate lights, parking lights, main beam, hazzard, heated mirror or dip beam fuses. Only fault logged is open circuit fuel pump relay. In total I have no power to 11 fuses.
  9. small update as the Lupo not really seen any action since june!! now have a Whiteline rear anti roll bar fitted which will hopefully help with the Lupo eating the edges of the tyres! Also got hold of a spare interior wiring loom which I have been splitting down so only the connections that are used are left. took a good 3-4 kg out of the weight of the wiring loom which was surprising! The Lupo now has no wiring to the radio, central locking, windows, interior lighting and the convenience system!! Will be looking forward to get back on track for the last 2 sessions this year down at Lydden.
  10. great fun to drive and they are very laid back at Lydden (one reason i keep going back) plus its cheap for public use!
  11. Was back down at Lydden Hill this weekend just gone. Been messing around with an old digital camera and made a mount which bolted to the tow eye on the loop. here is some footage. 12. no idea, at a guess between 900-1000kg. if you want the weight as a standard car should be on the log book. i know there was a lot taken out just from selling stuff and sorting couriers. the front seats are about 20+kg each plus the carpets and underlays were massively heavy!
  13. No not at all. In all honesty you dont really have to be that heavy on the brakes. all about carring the speed with the lupo so scub as little of as poss. helps its a dam sight lighter then a standard car
