  3. If you get stuck with interior stuff pm me. I do doorcard work all the time And those are deffo the type to he cut off and screwed back together. Get some nice fat screws and washers and they'll go back on a treat.
  4. That or get a grinder and grind the top of the plastic stud off. Then put a nice short but wide screw in to put it back together. It's how the pros do it. This is based on me assuming they're what I think they are. Post pictures up
  5. Dies anyone have a spare mk6 golf gaiter they've not used and wish to donate. I do car Interiors and could use the unused mk6 gaiter as a template incase I ever needed it. Just thought so e members might have it left over and not used
  6. Do you supply them with the gaiter or just the knob?
  7. Fretwell - I have sent you a pm. Matt123roll - cheers
  8. Vinyl is the best stuff to learn with. It's so versatile and stretchy as hell with correct heating. Best tool you can use is your hands. Don't use anything else as it could damage the material. Here is a set I did. Did them 18 months ago and they're still perfect to the day. Can do a set for you if you want.
  9. Here is my first steering wheel retrim. Didn't expect it to be this soon but I kinda just did it.
  10. I'm happy to do any trimwork anyone needs. Pm me with your requirements and I'll get back to you asap. I can supply ranges of vinyls, leathers, suedes and alcantara. All ranging respective of price. In the near future ill be offering seats and steering wheels retrims.
  11. Don't lie. Lol. They are now though. Paid 600 for that. Completely original. 46k miles. All original keys. Loads of paper work. Original number plates and dealer stickers.
  12. 1984 vauxhall nova saloon 2 door 46k on clocks.
  13. I don't mind giving advice but the adhesive an upholsterer uses is his biggest kept secret as it will make or break his work so unfortunately I can't disclose what i use but it is brush on and contact adhesive in a tin. Trx33 - the issues with it being patchy maybe lumpy in areas is something I've encountered but I believe it is solved through experience and learning the product. I buy the cheapest brushes I can get and throw them away after. Also make sure your adhesive is mixed properly and always stored at the correct temperature. With regard to your issue with removing the old material and using fibreglass, well I did the same on the lupo ones I retrimmed. Make sure before you recover with new material to sand the fibreglass with some 80 grit. Cheers Sean Here's another pic of my work. Custom smoothed punto mk2 dash ( smoothing etc done by me too )
  14. Not a lupo but here's a interior I finished last week
  15. Best tip of all - never use spray glue! Need to use a brush on contact adhesive. I do car interiors everyweek and I wouldn't use anything else.
  16. Correct it's not nessecary but it is the best option to remove old material on any auto upholstery project as you can never be sure how sound the original material is.
  17. Definitely always remove old material. Here's a set I've done for pete russell, can do this for others.
  18. SOLD!!!!! Mods please delete
  19. nah. Need the money mate. Thanks anyway
  20. offers above or just below 500? Desparate to have these gone!
  21. right. The steffans are an aftermarket wheel. This means that they will fit on any car with a pcd of 4 x 100. Theyre a high quality wheel so theyve allowed for enough room for spigot rings. These are still for sale. No swaps, no day dreamers. Looking for genuine buyers who are interested. Will consider lowering the price if i get a decent offer.
