I can't find the magazine anywhere! I've tried all the HUGE newsagents, Borders, WHSmiths etc around the area and still no luck style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

Bah I thought it was too good to be true! Scoobydoo, at the moment i've got 2 12" subs, but I fear that if i keep them i'll go deaf because I can't resist playing music so loud with them banging in the boot! So when I get a Lupo, i'm not going to have anything but front components because even if I just put one of the subs in the boot i'll just want more, so it's a case of all or nothing, and i'm going for nothing style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":lol:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> Therefore when I saw this I thought that it was a way for me to get a little more bass with using just front components. But obviously it's not worth it style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Just been reading an older issue of Total Car Audio and saw an article on something called MaxxBass, produced by The Waves Company. Basically, by using some sort of EQ process and patented "psychoacoustic algorithm" it boosts the lower frequencies therefore enhancing bass without increasing speaker excursion or power output. It effectively can make a pair of 6" speakers in the front doors sound like there is a 10" subwoofer in the boot but with the added bonus of retaining the coherency of the soundstage. I've got a Sony F7700 or something (it's not worth looking up) and it's ****. I can't believe I bought it considering the rest of my system is great. The screen cuts out. CDs skip when the CD player is cold because of the bass. But it's got lots of features and people like the movies it shows so they think it's amazing style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":lol:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
