personally I wouldn't go for my cage (again), I'd probably go for something from OMP or a Clubman cage. AFK and AUB are pretty much identical engines mechanically. I think you've just been unlucky, there's nothing wrong with the AFK engine....the only plug and play engine is the AFK engine, anything else and you'll have to mess with wiring, ECU etc

what does the head look like when you take the oil cap off? It's possible there's a blockage elsewhere

It's probably an AFK. It should be imprinted on the head I think it is on the left hand side...don't quote me on that though lol!

yeah but there like 1" x 15', or 1" x 50', 2" x 15' etc. thats quite a big difference lol just trying to gauge roughly how much I need

You can't get AFK cams. One's for the AUA are the same though

Has anyone ever wrapped a lupo manifold before, how much did you need?

Check the linkage first! It goes from your gearstick to the gear box, dont need to do anything to look at it. Just jack the car up. And in fairness you should take it back to the garage that fitted the clutch....and they should fix it!

could possibly be the linkage is damaged or way out. I had a bracket underneath snap on my linkage as well

DXK it a rod box I believe? Yours is cable driven. I never actually tried it myself but it might be possible to unbolt the selector mechanism from one box and put it on the other however I never actually tried it so don't know for sure

Thought I'd give a quick update. I don't have much planned over the winter apart from replacing the suspension with a Gaz Gold setup and also replacing my raceland manifold with a Ashley manifold. I've got to make a few mods to the car as next year we'll be carrying ballast if we finish 1st, 2nd or 3rd!

I might be stating the obvious...but did you check inside the air box to make sure it wasn't blocked?

if its from the top (I cant see your pic) it'll just be the inspection hole

Thanks!! I'm actually looking at suspension at the moment for mine and the cost of the KW's is really putting me off, they don't seem to do a clubsport package for the Lupo either. I've been looking at a Bilstein setup with some custom springs which comes in at about half the price of the KW's....

don't forget to compare the ashley manifold as well!
