Hi all, Any experiences with a VW body shop that can restore panel damage to factory standard? My concern is paint matching - this car is 4 months old and has only done 700 miles! Would appreciate your honest opinions.

Well I wish you luck and I am sure you'll be happy with it. I have to make my mind up soon as scrappage funds will only be available for the next two weeks so I was told by a few London dealers. I know of one Urban which was at check point 5 (would be available for collection mid September) in red but I want black or grey. I have test driven a 2006 and 2009 and found no difference in them apart from a slight miss on tick over this is due to the 3 cylinder engine design and if throttled heavily they can be noisy.

Thanks for your response. I would be using this car for very short journeys to work and several trips to a local airport throughout the year. I am surprised that your order was taken for December delivery quite close to the rules of the scarappage scheme where they outline that you have to be in the car within 20weeks of order date however, in London most dealers have said 16 weeks to me! - but have offered a Polo with imediate delivery at an extra 4 or 5 grand more I find this quite sick. What Fox are you getting and colour for the price you've mentioned it seems a good deal to me?

Lets have some honest feedback on this car - you never know I may re-order one! What's the noise level on the motorway at speeds 50 to 70 mph?

I agree with your coment - if you buy a 1.2 Singer sewing machine you can't complain afterwards that you were stiched up!!!

I have cancelled my order for the Fox due to the negativity I have read posted here. However, I went a step further by going to speak to 3 technicians at different VW dealerships who basically confirmed quite a few negative things that have been written on this forum but I would not disclose these issues word for word as this may offend many owners. Will continue to participate on this forum as I found it quite helpful in my situation in making my mind up on purchasing a new Fox and perhaps it saved me money in the long run as at the moment due to the scrappage scheme if I had returned this to the dealer they would have only offered between £4000 and £4500 which would have been a great loss to me!

Can anyone give any advice on removing the door panel?

I have been told by my local dealer that the car I ordered is in Germany. Intrested in knowing what this is all about are their not finished in Brazil correctly?

Can anyone confirm if the injection system is multi point?
