  6. Hi guys, I was on here a while ago when I had my 1.4 Lupo SE, was a brilliant car and loved every minute that I owned it, here's how it looked: After about 2 years I decided to sell up as the car just didn't feel great to drive at the time. So after the Lupo, I went over to the dark side and bought myself a Honda. IMG_0385 by JC 1990, on Flickr IMG_0388 by JC 1990, on Flickr Bought a few bits and bobs for it, full custom stainless exhaust, carbon fibre induction, Tein coilovers. Absolutely loved the car and after having reasonable insurance costs for the first year, the insurance companies must have decided that they no longer liked me and I couldn't get a quote under £2000!! So, here I am now, sold the Type R a few weeks ago and instantly found the car that I wanted to replace it. It was completely standard when I bought it, few niggles and things that need doing to it, but... I decided to grow a pair and splash out on a set of KW V1's as soon as I got home Next day, I found an unbelievably cheap set of brand new Dare RS style reps for less than £200 so through some money into these wondering why they were so cheap! After a week away with work I come home to both parcels sitting, waiting to be sorted out. So woke up nice and early next day and fitted the coilovers, got myself to the my tyre place and got the wheels on aswell. You will probably be wondering where all the pictures are by now, unfortuantely I didn't have my camera to take pictures along the way so got home, grabbed the camera and got some pics, here's how it stands at the minute: IMG_2521 by JC 1990, on Flickr IMG_2530 by JC 1990, on Flickr IMG_2523 by JC 1990, on Flickr IMG_2539 by JC 1990, on Flickr IMG_2536 by JC 1990, on Flickr IMG_2543 by JC 1990, on Flickr And just a last one next to my dad's car; IMG_2554 by JC 1990, on Flickr Quite pleased with how it looks now, could do with going down a bit more on the back but that can wait until the weekend now. Thanks for looking guys

  9. Alright mate, I've got a Type R and looking to sell to get a Lupo, it's not a facelift but is a really clean example. http://www.flickr.com/photos/64382028@N08/5973385619/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/64382028@N08/5973382249/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/64382028@N08/5973378157/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/64382028@N08/5973374035/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/64382028@N08/5973370033/ Message me on here if your interested and I'll give you some more details
  10. I have similar dints in my roof, been told in can be caused by the warm weather as the metal used for the roof is quite thin and flexes due to change in temperature, so all this hot weather may make it more noticable
  11. I may possibly have a go at fitting my throttle body and manifold this weekend, will post results on the forum when I've done it
  12. Had a problem with the car the other day, went to the shop to grab some stuff, must have been less than ten minutes in and out. Got back to the car, tried to start it and it just didn't want to, eventually got it to start but that only lasted about 10 seconds before it decided to give in when I touched the accelerator. I sat for a good 45 mins trying to get it to go, tried starting it every ten minutes or so but to no avail. After 45 mins though, it decided to start up and drove like normal all the way home. Do not know if it will have made a difference but it was an extremely hot day and the last time it did this was mid summer last year but it only did it once or twice :S Also noticed when driving if I put my foot down in 2nd or 3rd it sometimes stutters before pulling, it rarely does this but is quite worrying when it does. Going to do a service next weekend so any advice on anything I should look out for would be great.
  13. A tip I got given a while ago for my mums car was to find a way of putting them silica gel packs inside the lights, I didn't do it but I've heard it works in some cases

will be looking to get to this one again, was a good laugh last year, gotta get the car looking healthy again first though
  15. Not sure on the best one to use, but ye, what you need is the lance, on the lance there is a bottle that you fill up with the snow foam mix, that being why you need the proper lance
  16. My mates got that one and its brilliant. The force feedback gives it a good feel when I've used it on forza so I was thinking about getting one for when F1 comes out
