  1. thats an 18 is it not? You shouldnt be watching that your too young!
  2. I just hope you have it for edition lauryn! Will save my cringing for 300 miles or so with the wheels!
  3. For that on lauryns car i would usually charge £65 for the interior, usually start from £45 but charge extra for removing seats, doing headlining and doing seatbelts. Engine bay would also be a tenner, and carnuba wax would be £20 so £95 all in really. if anyone is interested or wants more info then they can look at www.themirrorimage.co.uk Thanks Mark.
  4. Didnt really require it, Lauryn keeps the car really well! thanks for all comments:D
  5. And now onto the Lupo, Was in preperation for the Scottish Modified Car show, Job was a full interior Valet and just give the outside a good clean and a coat of wax. Headlining was really dirty and it was cleaned using Brisk Foam and a few microfibre towels although i found it really difficult to get the pictures to show this. Interior didnt look that dirty but carpets were actually quite brown and muddy To make life easier we decided to remove the seats as the fronts are only held in with 2 bolts each. I then started on the interior with a stiff scrubbing brush, a hard interior sponge and again brisk but this time not in aerosol form. Before: During: After: After that i went onto the rear seats which got the same treatment: Then onto the fronts: One of the front seats had tyre marks on the back of it which wouldnt budge with brisk or concentrated G101 so i tried sprayed Plus 10 on a microfibre towel and rubbing hard which worked although its not something i would advise doing except in extreme circumstances. Seatbelts were also caked in dirt and they were cleaned using brisk, concentrated g101 and a scrubbing brush After: Seats were then refitted and car was left to try while i did the outside. Car then prewashed with Snow Foam Washed using 2bm with duet shampoo and then dried with Microfibre towels> wheels were cleaned using a variety of brushes and sponges and the duet shampoo. Wheel cleaner was not required as owner treats wheels daily. I then thought id try out some Carnuba Gold Wax my Autosmart Rep had given me to try: Applied and left to set: Buffed off, was quite impressed with the quality for a cheapish wax. All interior plastics were then cleaned with G101 and dressed with AG Super Sheen and all glass was cleaned inside and out with AG Glass Cleaner then carpet mats refitted And that was it till the next day when the car was given a once over using Meguiars Last Touch, Glass done again with AG Glass cleaner, tyres dressed with AG Rubber Cleaner, Plastics dressed with Supersheen, Tailpipe done with Megs metal cleaner and finally wheels sealed with Jetseal. And heres some pics from the show: Comments and opinions welcome. M.
  6. fair enough point but one of my good mates is a fulltime uni student, renting a flat etc, an he still works his arse off an has one of the nicest mk3 vr6 golf's ive seen. Its all about the motivation. and thank you lauryn:D
  7. And finially the finished item Tailpipes After Tailpipes were cleaned with Megs metal polish and steel wool Wheels And a few interior pics Reflections Flake And to finish off Comments welcomed. Mark.
  8. Reflection in door Getting there Car was then washed again after id finsihed with the fcp as it is really dusty. Washed it and dried it and machine polished it with Sonus something or other that i cant remember the name of but was very very impressed with. Then I gave it a coat of Megs Tech Wax although didnt take any pics. Then i gave it a finished coat of Megs Stage 3 Carnuba Wax I then made a start on the interior which wasnt dirty at all really in all fairness. Rear Mat Under the mat Vacummed And matt vacummed and put back in: Front Passenger footwell, no before pic, sorry
  9. Thought id post this up seeing as its kinda a vw, Was a customers car i had a few weeks back. Khan Bentley Continetal GT with 25k miles but the paint was in horrible condition, swirl marks everywhere as the car never really gets polished. It gets washed 2-3 times a week at a handcarwash which will be the cause of the majority of the swirls. Heres a few pics of how the car looked when it got dropped off. Wheels Tailpipes Swirls Door Shuts {sorry pic is at a weird angle} I started by going round the doorshuts and difficult to reach places such as the mesh in the grill to clean them. Here sa during pic of the door shuts I then started with the wheels using a watered down acid solution to clean the stubborn stains at the back of the wheels. Wheels have been powdercoaed so durable enough finish to use acids on. I then cleaned the faces of the wheels and the backs with a varitey of brushes and a sponge with warm soapy waper using megs next gen car shampoo. Wheels After The arches were then pressurewashed out and a variety of brushes used to scrub them although no pics of this. The car was then pressure jetted to remove some of the dirt and was then washed using the 2bm method with megs wash mitt and megs next gen shampoo. Rinsed Car was then dryed using microfibre towels. I then clayed the car using Clay Magic, here was the claybar after the wing and the door on the n/s I then masked the car up then assessed the paint for damage Dully hazy/swirled paint. Scratch on bonnet I then started to machine the car using a 3m yellow pad and 3m fast cut plus. Poor attempt at a 50/50 pic Closeup of the side that was done And the side that hadnt been done
  10. money doesnt come into it. If you want nice things you work hard. I work 60 hours a week at times to pay for the luxuries in life. And accord type r's are not expensive cars at all. prices for an early one like mine are down to 4kish the now.
  11. Work for a bank, ive always had the atr, the 5 series was just a wee toy i bought for some fun.
  12. Good old steer from the rear action. I bounced my 5 series off a kerb by going proper sideways and did some wheel damage but decided to be sensible and sell it after that incase i did proper damage.
  13. if that was a poor attempt at sarcasm then bring your dad aswell.
  14. and casper i quote "The two penis 's who have recently joined and though it would good to slag off jamie's car for no apparent reason. They dont own a lupo and probably have no intention of getting one either." I'll see you at edition wee man, im gona have a que of people to give backhanders to:lol: btw found a wee pic of you mate
  15. least you've joined the good side big man. S2k in yellow will be my next car i think. I have a genuine honda service stamp btw if u want me to bring it to edition for you.
