  1. It's been a while since being on here. Had a SDI for my first car but looking at getting a 1.0 now. It's up for £2295 02 reg 58k 3owners FSH Cambelt done I know about these pedal boxes and i'm pretty sure on the SDI we had it welded fixed rather than new pedal box and is still fine to this day. If this 1.0 hasn't had it done, is it due to fail any minute, or do some go and some don't. How much would you haggle off ? It's from an independent garage so comes with 1k mileage warranty. Need a car ASAP, and is close. Going to look at it on friday.

    Dec's Gti

    Stunning, not a fan of full leather though. Mk5 Gti seats i say
  3. Here, you lot much have noticed it.. http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=70575
  4. Who's was the black Lupo Gti @ Trax this weekend ? Was on track and parked up in the track area, very dirty but obviously a track car with coilovers and standard bathursts (sp).
  5. Yeah it was. Ar Joe was telling me about when he had one. But to be fair his 182 was stunning. I have had a look at it, but i think im going to wait for a anthracite one. Sounds wierd, but i'd rather have me Clio than a Lupo GTI, unless its in anthracite, lol. Nothing wrong with silver bud. Had a Lupo SDI in silver, then wanted a Saxo VTR in silver, but got a black one instead, then wanted a silver VTS, but got a silver Clio sport instead, lol. GF thinks i'm boring.
  6. I will actually hold you to this
  7. Summer wheels are crackin', nice and fresh.
  8. Did notice that thread. Yeah to be fair i'm happy to wait 6 months, or however long it takes. Lets hope i get in there quick, lol.
  9. TDI, lol, no way. Have a Clio Sport 172;
  10. Lad on cliosport.net had one on Renault 19 rims and lowered on FK's, this is basically making me want one. He sold it without me knowing, gutted was an understatement, lol.
  11. Right i'm currently at University and have had my Clio Sport for nearly two years in June. I'm living in the city centre of Nottingham and get to about 30mph tops if i'm using my car around town and then sometimes commute home to Northampton. Have always loved Lupo's as my first car was an SDI for two years and 40k. I always like to upgrade to a quicker, better car, but being at Uni i don't get the full use out of a 2L so i think it's wise to downgrade to save on Tax, Petrol and maybe even Insurance. I'm thinking Loop GTI, but i'm only after one in Anthracite.. Whats the chances of finding one ? I'm not fussed as i don't owe anything on the Clio Sport but i'm thinking a little Loop GTI for 2 years until i finish Uni and then upgrade to a new style S3 would be a good move. How many actually are there ? Sorry about the essay.
  12. Glad you know your Clio Sports, was expecting an extremely biased reply. Surprised about the MPG, 32mpg seems poor from a 1.6 ? Hmm, mines an 02 with 80 k and im hoping for 3.6k so i'll be needing to gather more money together. Glad you have driven both, mines on coilovers and its seriously like rails with power to match. Considering im living in a city now rather than the village sticks, power wont be needed, just seems a waste cause i don't get out of 3rd really. Definally agree with built better.My first car was a Loop SDI, and was solid compared to my Saxo VTR i had next.
  13. Well, its been a while since i've been on here, but i have now become a uni stude. So im looking to downgrade engine wise from my Clio Sport to a Git. What sort of Gti can be had for 4k ish. Going to wack it on coilovers right away and leave it, no euro buisness. Are these any good petrol wise ? Currently paying 700 quid fully comp on my Sport at 21. So hopefully getting a Gti will be cheaper tax, insurance, and general running costs. Worth the downgrade considering i 'drive' my cars rather than for 'show. Tom
  14. Quality motor. Get some Coilovers and deck it. Also id say 16's max, 17's wil be too big.
  15. very nice and smart. lowww on steelies...sweet.
  16. looking good, those wheels are extremely stretched. should look smart once put together. i used to have an sdi and yes they are extremely good on fuel and tax and insurance ! tax is 35 quid for a year iirc.
  17. had to come on here, lol ! funny kid.
  18. Havn't been on this site for a while, but how's this going ?
