Get yourself on dubnortheast.co.uk there are a few on their who do body work
-
Never seen fog lights on a gti like that before, are they standard items?
-
Yep. They are available. I had a set. They come in: 15x7 et25 15x7 et35 And then they do 15x6, 14x6 etc.
-
Agree with this. Remove all the interior give it a good wash and Hoover as well.
-
He has probably measured them wrongly if the width isn't stamped on the wheel anywhere. You should measure from bead to bead rather than the overall width.
-
Not sure, never owned steels. If the seat on the bolt matches the seat on the wheels you should be fine.
-
Haha. Cut the ends roughly the right length, leaving a bit overhanging to cut down after it Is in place. Tape it up centrally and tweak until you are happy. Start the screws from the centre working outwards (do both sides the same time, not one side then the other). Then when it is all screwed in cut the ends off to match the bumper.

M12x1.5 I believe. Will need to check your wheels for the type of seat. Either radius, for standard vw wheels or tapered for most aftermarket
-
Plenty of people have run 16x7.5 and got them sitting well. Take mitch's lupo on the votex 4 spokes for example.
-
Not really. A 195/40/16 is about the same rolling radius as a 195/45/15. I doubt many people have done 8x16 to get info from though.

VW Lupo Sport - Rear Bumper Centre Exit Exhaust Dimensions
ministig replied to LoopyJ's topic in Volkswagen Lupo
Not any more, I used to own one. I'm sure someone will pop along and help you out in a mo though If you want a rough estimate find the dimensions of a sport scorpion aftermarket exhaust as I know they are almost flash fitting with the recess. -
VW Lupo Sport - Rear Bumper Centre Exit Exhaust Dimensions

Ah that's ok then, didn't want you to go pay £££ for a sport exhaust for it to then not fit!! -
VW Lupo Sport - Rear Bumper Centre Exit Exhaust Dimensions
ministig replied to LoopyJ's topic in Volkswagen Lupo
Is your car a sport? If not the centre exit exhaust won't fit due to the spare wheel well. In sports they come with a space saver and shallow well so the exhaust can sit in the recess, whereas the normal lupos have a full size spare a deep well. If its a non standard exhaust, some are sport specific like scorpion and will only work on a sport. Others hang under the rear bumper, so you won't need the sport rear bumper. Edit: can't answer your dimension question though - -

When I had it, it was as low as it would go. No rear adjuster, or platform. Front on the very last thread, helpers still in. On TA coilovers. -

Here is my old lupo: Bought by a member on here, wiigocrazy. -
Get some decent ones second hand, problem solved.
-
Just read the whole thread, looks great. Did you solve the front not being able to go lower? If you haven't have a look at the arb, mine caught on the chassis, may be what's holding you up.
-
Might have been bored out for Renault?
-
Na you should be fine. 175/50/13 tyres I guess? Doubt you will ever get low enough on 13's to need the arches rolled. I might be wrong on this though!
-
If you want your wheels flush and to run 165/50 with rolled arches I would go for 30-35 rear adapters With the 185's I would stick to 25-30
