Compomotive do a very similar looking wheel
-
Serious?? There are a few lupos on classics. How many wheels have you been looking at? Do some reading in the readers rides threads and see what fitments offsets widths etc work on lupos.
-
I hope you never park next to my car!
-
You can just tell that they are fakes from a mile off to be fair The bolts, the shape of the spokes, centre cap design, quality etc. Oh and for £500 you can get a set of decent RM's, or a set of decent quality wheels with tyres - Borbets, schmidts, ronal
-
No. Will poke a mile on the front
-
I still think they look too big. Props for getting it sitting how it is though. I think 14-16" is a good sixpence for the lupos 17's take a lot of work (as jjjjjjkkkkkk's thread shows) to simply fit let alone sit right
-
16's are a doddle to get to fit - and fit well at that. 15's look good too and are what I ran on my lupo. Oh 17's are too big
-
Please say they are genuine borbets, love silver on silver
-
Got a bargain there, especially if they are the real deal. When I had my Borbets I paid about £90 for the set and then all the locking bolts an key too
-
been on holiday for two weeks and all these updates happen xenons are one of the best upgrades to standard lupos.
-
be prepared to pay £100 new or used - i know the borbet a's a re back being made new by popular demand. they are worth it though oh and dont buy the nasty plastic ones off ebay
-
Starmags 2-300 depending on condition. Can still buy new ones from the classic mini places I don't see the fascination with banded steels they are still just steels even if they are a little wider and have a lairy paint job
-
No all 14's are too small
-
Hold out for what you want for it. There will be someone who will see it as the ideal car, may just take a while for them to spot it! A good low mileage sport would fetch 2500 ish tops. Unfortunately I don't think many people looking at the lupo would see the LPG as a selling point - buyers being new drivers etc. At least there is substance for the price, not like the normal 1.0l cars up for mad prices because they have been cleaned a bit.
-
Yep used them a few times, always the cheapest, quick delivery had no issues. Oh and if you use quidco as well you get cash back!
-
Sounds like it wasn't sealed properly if the tyre was going down. If it is driven when low pressure it will be more likely to come off the bead than a non stretched tyre. I would take it to a tyre place and get them to reseal it onto the wheel - but check the bead for damage (on the wheel and tyre).
-
I was riding shotgun. I cant remember seeing anyone - may have been singing along to the radio, badly
-
I wouldn't be paying that much for a 1L, you can get a good sport for that.

New paint is soft for a while before it fully hardens

James' Lupo Sport - it's MEGA - Now a Golf - more wheels

Needs a new tailgate (or glass at least) as the elements aren't all working. So going to get a plain boot and an anni or r32 spoiler as they flow better. Can't remove this one, they are bonded on tight and have metal pins holding it on! -

I have taken the adjusters out of the rear completely. I had when It was on the advans too but never put a pic up I don't think! Just need to roll the front arches and cut the arch liners and then it will be going back down -

They are on: Had to raise the front a touch because they were catching on the arches. Will get them rolled and then will be going back down! Really pleased with them -
