  1. easy peasy flipped the engine mount drivers side to raise it 20-ish mm, still running all original wiring just different inlet and throttlebody cos its cable (might be cos its diego, lupos might need the entire loom i don't know
  2. new engine.. definitely not a tdi
  3. lol like most in this thread it usually begins with gingerly opening the door and assessing whether or not if its possible to squeeze out the gap or climb out the passenger side

    Spacers?

i was under the impression the question was about spacers in general being safe and stuff. not about your ideas on offsets tyre choices and all that crap. do you realise how childish you sound?

    Spacers?

if you really wanted to.. aftermarket spacers and bolts aren't made of cheese

easy test to do mate is drive along a flat road and let go of the steering wheel, and see if the car wants to go off to the side, or even if the steering wheel is 'steering' to go straight

    Spacers?

as long as you have the corresponding wheel bolts it doesnt really matter what wheels are on it

    100 mill

just try get the ones with the lowest quoted drop you can, it won't be as they say it is, its just a guideline in actual fact. besides you can always get busy on them if the drop isnt good enough for you.. you can chop springs, remove helpers, cut down bumpstops, fit smaller springs, smaller top mounts etc. as for drilling new holes for the rear damper, ommfffg! these little cars are surprisingly driveable on the floor too

    Spacers?

15mm won't cause you any grief don't worry at all
  10. just thought i'd add that my bbs are 7j et38 and the inner lip sits incredibly close to the coilover adjuster ring, i'd suggest getting the smaller 165, not only will it look better it'll leave you more scope to go lower without issues

if you're feeling lift at those speeds then somethings badly wrong nothing to do with aero. can't say i've felt any lift
  12. lol fair enough mate everyones entitled to their opinions. yeah its just sleaford thats a no-go, with the cops throwing their vague laws at me. 'might' 'could' etc. its total BS. ah bens only had a producer, no biggie. its also mainly laziness for me as well with lows. get it down and leave it there, raise it and have to track it again, thats money for making it look gay lol
