  1. Yes mate! Koreans only like big and comfortable cars, so they didn't even think about bringing cars like Lupo from Volkswagen Korea. Polo only got diesel and it didn't sell well. I hope the torque goes up to rev limit after 3000 rpm, so what type of manifold should I use? Let me know if you know the brand of the product! Thank you.

  3. If you can play with the ignition timing and change the cam timing (both ECU work), then I'd go for 4-2-1. If you can't change the mapping, I'd keep it original.

  4. It depends. The trade off is torque vs power. The way they work is very dependent on RPM and the resonant frequency in the pipe. So to get the best results, you need to be able to play with ignition timing and cam timing. And you can add a bigger bore exhaust and more silencing so you actually end up with more power (and/or torque), but run much quieter. Mercedes are very good at it. You might want to read up on header and extractor flow theory... 🙄 And so cool to have a club lupo member in Korea! My guess you have a Jap import?

  5. UPDATE: It is with regret that Larry will be going up for sale. WIth a few large bills coming in for my motorbike, and other car, i need the money - this beauty is just sat alone waiting for its next drive since i work from home and have access to 3 cars. I will create a proper full sale post on the weekend IF the weather is nice, but this thread gives a good representation of its life so far. More details to follow. if anyone wants to PM me about the car then thats fine. As always thanks

  6. Yeah I love it to bits. Hasn’t moved in a week and that’s a long time for me and my cars. I have no urge to go to pubs, restaurants etc we have three cars between me and the wife so could manage on 1 tbh. we’ll see how the rest of the year plays out. I have an urge for an mx5 😉

  8. I’d say all of it. that oil pan is a 6L and it’s quiet full. If the factory comes with 4.7L as advised I’d say I haven’t missed any. Also the drain plug is at the back of it so at this angle it falls towards the drain which is perfect.
