  1. I am putting the Lupo up for sale. A new daily has been purchased that is better to haul the bikes about in. I bought the car from the second owner in September time, who had owned it for a year. She bought it from her sister, who was the original owner for the previous 14 years. The history file is very thick and detailed, using the same VW specialist in Aberdeen over its life until my ownership. This is my 4th Lupo (3rd GTI) and probably the most cared for one I have had. 2004 Lupo GTI 105k FSH - timing belt, water pump and service done at 105k. MOT - Nov 2020 - no advisories. There car has had some small mods as follows: - Auto headlights - Bluetooth headunit (will come with the original) Driver side stubby mirror - Smooth bootlid, with boot popper Painted and installed in October 2020 A couple of small points to note: - Passenger side front bumper has a small scratch on it - could maybe be polished out - Rear arches have some bubbling occurring - Wheels could do with a refurb - Leather interior has some age related wear The car has been the perfect daily, and a pleasure to own for the past 6 months/3000 miles. It has just been serviced this weekend (oil, filters, timing belt and water pump) so is all good and ready to go! I am looking for £2650 reduced from £2995 ono for the car. If the full asking price is given, I will also include a set of weitec coilovers. The car is located in Aberdeen, Scotland. I can collect you from the Airport, Bus or Train Station.

  2. Been browsing the forums since I bought my GTI back in May and thought it was long overdue that I join and say hi! Proud owner of a Reflex silver GTI (53 plate) previously owned by forum member "grumpy" bought it back from Wales to Essex and its now being serviced by the garage it was originally registered by so it's come "home". Always wanted a Lupo GTI since I first passed my driving test but ended up in a string of other dubs before getting here (MK2 Golf GTI 16v, MK4 polo GTI, MK4 Golf R32) Was completely standard but didn't feel like the suspension was up to the standard of the rest of the car so put it on KW v1's in November. Very happy and have now got the modifying bug. Next purchase will be Exhaust system and have my eye on the Kam Racing manifold and grams exhaust system but am trying to decide on silenced or un-silenced. Anyone know if they office a club discount? plus rear spacers to push the wheels out now its lowered (hoping this wont affect handing too much?) Looking forward to browsing on here for tips, tricks and inspiration as a member! Vikki

  3. One of the first alterations was to swap out the OEM steering wheel. I decide to go for the OMP Trecento 300mm. I think it's much better for the size of the car. Also noticed the indicator stalk has been swapped out for an aftermarket one. Will be on the look out for an OEM one. Next up is a service, android head unit and a good clean.
