change rear axle to disc

hi
as any one changed rear axle to disc brakes
or do i need to get rear axle of gti model lupo

Yes people have done it, you need a full rear beam set-up from a GTi or a sport. I'm not sure on everything else that is needed, but obviously things like break lines and the like will be. Try using the search button at the top of the page you may find a lot more information that way :)

you could get away with stripping your standard rear beam right down passed the stub axels, and then rebuilding up using disc parts
Ahh the sound of tyres hitting the arch- if you dont know what it is, you will do when you hear it and you will miss it when you dont!!

which disc parts would fit just lupo ones or would golf gti ect fit

stub axels , hubs , caliper carriers , calipers, discs , pads , hand brake cables , brake fluid and i cant remember what else mate

lupo/arosa or any other 6N* platform im sure should fit

mate if your attempting it yourself then you will need to do ALOT of research if you dont know what things are , dont f*ck arround with brakes if you dont know what your doing.

i now whot im doing don 5 stud conversion to my mk3 golf convertible
just wont to know whot u mean by 6n it must be vw polo
