  1. Sorry buddy no, located in Peterborough pick up only as I just don't have the time for anything else :-/
  2. Thanks for the offer, waay too low The wheel has rim damage, I wouldn't call it buckled. The tyres are 4,5,7,7mm & a brand new one, hardly shot. Whether they require painting or not is up to the buyer, I suppose whether theyre scene or not? Didn't bother me. Not sure what scene tax is tbh I'm not in it. Glad you don't pay it though.
  3. hi:) garage clearout so up for sale is a set of 5 g60 steel 4x100 15's with toyo proxes T1R's, that i had on our lupo tdi. One has a slight deformation on the lip from a pothole, doesn't hold air but would be an easy fix. the other 3 are in used condition as pictured. one is brand new. tyre tread depths listed below. x1 wheel as pictured, approx 7mm of tread x1 wheel as pictured, approx 4mm of tread x1 wheel as pictured, approx 7mm of tread x1 wheel as pictured damaged lip does not hold air (pothole damage, easy to remedy i imagine), approx 5mm of tread x1 wheel as pictured, tyre is brand new as markings on etc, wheel looks new if not it is in near mint condition. looking for £250 ono will need picking up with cash on collection, located in peterborough any questions please ask thanks for looking:)
  4. Hi:) Bought for our lupo tdi, finally got round to installing these. installed the passenger side but the wife doesn't like them so they're up for sale:-/ Passenger is already modified so a direct fit, I'd made a start on the drivers but never finished it. Easy to finish off I just don't have any time these days. But dusty, drivers has a couple of small fag burns and bolster is slightly wrinkled. All handles & levers in full working order Need to free up space in my garage, £40 collected from Peterborough Any questions let me know:)
  5. Great pictures thanks. By loom i mean the wiring. How did you make the electrics work?
  6. hi, looks really good have you got any good pictures of the engine/gearbox mounts? what did you do with the looms?
  7. Mk2 did you get anymore info on the points you made above?? i have a tdi atm, and have been mulling over either a 130pd conversion, or looking to upgrade to a vnt setup. my lupo is low miles, the vnt conversion would allow me to keep my current engine & box with a potential 130ish bhp , but if i'm spending the money i think it'd be better long run to start with a asz/arl setup then tuning would be easier. Info on both is scarce tbh, if i could get all the info together i would write up a how to.
  8. Bought a whiteline rear arb for my lupo and had a go at fitting it when I got back from work tonight. I've watched a YouTube video of a guy fitting one to a polo which I believe is the same arb, and he fits the drop links and just swings it up to connect to the axle via the D hangers easy as pie . The bar I have fouls on the lower suspension arms when it's connected to the drop links, and is way off being able to connect to the D hangers, I could get it up there with the Jack, but having seen the ease with which the guy on YouTube fitted his I think somethings not right. Does anyone have some pics of a fitted whiteline rear arb on a lupo so I can compare.
  9. update box is now on, all that needs modding is the gearbox mount casting on the jdd gearbox, then a few washers need adding to maintain the original mount position. Speedo needs swapping over, but apart from that everything else bolts up in the same positions. you can probably get it done in a day, however since i could only get the odd hour here and there on it it has taken me an age. only taken it round my estate as the car is sorned at the mo, should be getting it mot'd and taxed next week, then i'll be selling my fabia vrs and this will be my new commuting car. So i'll report back on the drive once i've riven it for a while. if anyone has any questions or is thinking of doing it i'll be happy to answer any questions,
  10. Sourced a jdd box for my 1.4 tdi so will be doing the change over the next few weeks. Can the gearbox be removed by just removing the driveshafts flanges from the gearbox and tying back out of the way? Or do the shafts need to be removed completely from the hubs to get enough clearance?
