Just an update...I followed the link above and ordred two of the oilite bushes.
Where the arm links to the door I assumed it was for there.....wrong they were way too big.
I had already drilled that bit out but luckily I had some strong white plastic tubing, pushed that thro the hole and put the pin back in.
No difference......
I took it out again ,the complete unit, and the bush I took out which was loose (opp side to the spring ) I put one of the oilite bushes in but still the same......
So on one side only of each of the oilite bushes (I got four as they were pence) I rubbed them up and down a file, took half an hour before they had ground down enough to fit side by side, I put the pin back in and two c clips (it had one but put another just in case).
Voila....no noise, clunking , smooth action.....
To summise the bushes ordered thto the link , if they were the same only 13/14 mm long, ie in one piece it would take 30 mins max to fix.
Not sure how long it will take before it wears down again but so far cost me about £4 and have got enough for the other door......
