Hi! I can get hold of a 2001 mk3 seat Ibiza Cupra 1.8t engine code ayp! FOR POLO 6n2 GTI CONVERSION: Using this as a doner car, what other additional parts would I need to buy? I will be fabricating the mounts myself Will I still need the vr6 radiator, custom driveshafts etc. Or can I use everything from the doner car? also is it possible to fit the seat Ibiza brakes? Thanks!

If I can't find anything I can get some made up and friction welded, I hear it's only the shorter one that needs changing? Or do both need to be custom? Or does it depend how the engine and box is mounted? It's a long term project I have my converted Lupo to use until it's complete, so there is no rush and I am expecting unexpected costs! Does the list look correct and everything there in terms of the swap? Thanks for the replies and the heads up!

I've done my research and I'm going to need the 5 speed box anyway, I would just rather the cable clutch so I won't have to change the pedal box. Or will I be best off going for one with a hydraulic clutch and just putting in more time and effort? Thanks!

Okay thanks I'll check that out! Yeah the brakes were not included, I will be upgrading brakes and using the polo gti ones for my Gti converted Lupo

Hi! I've done some research however it is hard to get straight answers! I have used the search bar! I have come up with a list for my 1.8t project on my polo 6n2 gti, I just want a push in the right direction! Could I please have some advice on whether I need to add to the list or something I've said is wrong! I know it's a lot of hard work and money, and the list doesn't include upgrading braking or supension, litterally just for the engine swap! Here goes::::::::::::: Agu engine, ko3s turbo, gearbox, ancillaries, Ecu, loom, (as agu is cable clutch so won't have to change the pedal box? And stronger internals?) Vr6 clutch and g40 flywheel(optional but handle power better?) Ecu decoded so I can use the polo gti clocks and key? Custom loom Custom engine / gearbox mounts Find the correct driveshafts from another vw/Audi/seat or send off for custom ones? Custom down pipe Vr6 radiator Front mount intercooler and piping? LSD to help put power down

I have bought an omex single coil rev limiter with launch control for my 1.4 Lupo with a 1.6 6n2 gti lump, this will work yes? If so, which wires are what on the negative? Mine has 2 greens, 1 black and 1 brown! No comments like "not worth it" please

The standard 1.4 (non sport) Lupo has vented 239mm discs The sport has vented 256mm discs so I want to upgrade as I need new ones anyway Will the sport discs fit straight on the 1.4? If not what mods will I need? Thanks!

Does anyone know if 8.5j g60 14" (passat steels?) will fit the rear of the Lupo with rolled arches and stretch tyres? I know 8j all round fits nicely, will 8.5j rear look too much and silly? Anyone got a picture? Thanks Any suggestions? Thanks

Hi! I've got some g60 steels 14" ready to be banded. What's the best size to go? I've got 7" teledials at the moment and they're not wide enough for my liking. I was thinking: 8j all round 8j rear, 7 1/2 front 8 1/2 rear, 7 1/2 front 8 1/2 rear, 8j front Or either of these keeping fronts 7j I don't mind having to roll my arches a little but I don't want it soup idly wide! Which will look the best for my Lupo? All opinions welcome! Thanks!

So what gearboxes actually fit on the polo 6n2 gti 1.6? I've heard the 1.4 16v polo/Lupo boxes fit, is this true? And are the ratios really much of a problem? The polo gti boxes are a pain to get hold of and are extensive as then go wrong often. What's the best route ? Any help or advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

Hi! I've searched this everywhere and can't find anything! Apart from people saying they've done it without any information! I have a Lupo with a polo 6n2 gti lump inside. My question is: do the polo 6n2 gti 16v lumps have a single or twin coil pack? Someone please help me! Thanks!
