  1. Last service was bout april time, gna do another one before i sell it. Cambelt was changed at 52,000 miles i believe, spoke to a few VW dealers and they all said it needs changing after another 60,000 or 4 years. I'm in kent Andy
  2. The 106 and Lupo are both black. S/h isn't much, because me and the past owner serviced it ourselves. Andy
  3. Aye, this one is pushing about 180-190, got sooo much done to it, and lowered 60mm. Andy
  4. I am seeing how much i can get for my lupo. I have owned it since September 2006, and hardly drove it due to being a learner, I've now passed and got my first years ncb, and am buying a Pug 106 GTI. Here are my specs - 100bhp 1.4 sport W (2000) Plate - Soft Blue 91k Miles New Spark plugs GTI Stainless steel cat back exhaust De-catted New drive belt and tensioner Window tints all around Standard sport wheels in white Cone air filter Badgeless grill Black rear Badge Side strips removed Headlights smoked Rear debadged (1.4/sport) Toad Thatcham Cat 1 alarm fitted with remote locking and automatic window closure Now the bad points (might as well tell you about them) - Side strips left a few marks that need attention Rear debadging left a few tiny marks Throttle body needs cleaning, as it gives a slightly lumpy idle but i will be doing that Seats need a good old fashioned clean Switch for passenger window (on drivers side) needs replacing I'm the 4th owner on it, and it needs a good home, it is pretty rapid Just want a rough price on it. Will get some pics up shortly. Cheers, Andy

    clutch

My cousin has one fitted to his impreza which pushes 380bhp at the wheels and my mate had one fitted to his 24v cosworth. Andy
  6. Anyone got a diagram of where the auxiliary belt tensioner goes onto so i can see if it comes apart? Andy
  7. Was told it will be the only place to do it, as i dont think there are any VW specialists in my area, but i cant get to work now as i have no transport and am too young to rent a car. Andy
  8. found out the pulley that the belt was sitting on is knackered and the housing that it goes on is knackered too. Vw haven't got any courtesy cars so i cant get to work either. Help someone style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> Andy
  9. Was going to do a complete overhaul on it myself. filters, oil, tightening bolts etc... Just need to find the time. Andy

    clutch

I've got a Black Diamond sports uprated clutch that i'm fitting to my Lupo Sport, but i am expecting to get a nice amount of power out of it soon. Andy
  11. They are in surrey, need somewhere closer to be honest. Andy
  12. Had a really bad noise lately whilst driving and was told it was the auxiliary drive belt. I bought one yesterday to fit with my cousin today but it seemed like a big job for us to do, so we tightened the current one. After tightening it and driving down the road, it snapped, and i've just been towed home by my brother for 18 miles. I'm sick of my car running like a heap of **** so i want to do some major care for it. It needs a bloody good service too, so i've made a list of what i need to do to get it running right etc... Brake fluid Oil filter Oil Fuel filter Rocker Cover Gasket (mine has blown) Sump plug (for the oil change) Cam belt Water pump Auxiliary belt fitted (do i need tensioners?) Alternator (My cousin said the brushes in mine are on their way out) Anyone got any other ideas of things to replace, as this car hasn't really been looked after much etc... Also, any ideas how easy the auxiliary belt is to fit? Finally, any idea on pricing for the above things and where from? Anyone in the kent area fancy making some money to help me get it running right? Cheers, Andy

    Ecruze

Hi guys and girls. Just got back from a car meet over the weekend with a forum i'm on called Ecruze. It's mainly Subaru's but there was an S2000, a Mk3 golf GTI, Clio sport, and a few others, and they are trying to get more people together for meets etc... and i thought it would be good for us to get together with them and show of our lovely german motors. The site is Ecruze Sign up and post in the newbie section that i recommended you from here, they also have stickers etc.... and jackets and are a nice bunch of guys and girls. Hope this is ok to post style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> Andy
