  1. could you not stick the ones you cut in the cups and higher them a bit?
  2. picked the arch roller up at half 7, and spent all night till 1 rolling all 4 arches, rears were relatively simple, and have worked perfectly, but the front were a bit trickier, and havent rolled as much due to this, had the help from a mate (geoff in the photo)
  3. adapters came yesterday, got them straight on...... scrubs like **** on the rears, so i shall be doing some arch rolling tonight after work, anyone got any tips? i will be using a proper arch roller and heatgun
  4. would you sell the springs you cut? or do you know anywhere I can get lower rear springs? cheers
  5. how do you get pressed springs? is it something you have done to them after purchase or is it the type of fk springs they sell?
  6. Tyres and adapters will be bought on thursday 25th, then just gotta get hold of some bolts and they'll be on, all fully painted now, lent them up against the rear drum with a homemade 20mm axel to see how they will sit; what d'ya think?
  7. What rear springs are you running? Stance is amazing!
  8. update; tinted lights and indicators - since ive also tinted my side indicators... + also found roof bars and a rack in the back off my shed off of my dads old passat, so im currently running those
  9. going to have to run 15/20mm adapters, meaning tyres on the back will have to be chosen carefully, tried a 165 50 15 on to check for stretch; definately want a lower profile, but may have to run 155 50s to keep the tread in the arch as the backs are pokey as **** (backs are 7j fronts are 6j) +20mm adapters
  10. just bought some porsche cookie cutters off of ebay and began rubbing them down ready to primer/paint;
  11. i know youve spoke bout it before, but are you running cut springs? or have you bought fk rear springs as a replacement? im asking as i have the basic ta-Technic coilovers and there still massively high on the back.... just seeing how the rears were cut if you have experiance? or where you got and how good the replacements you bought were? cheers, tom
  12. have you got rid of the cage and seats already?! asin, sold them? and sick thread mate, loved seeing the progression
  13. Ive wanted to know for a while now how people get the backs of lupos so low.... I have a set of T.A. Technic coil overs, of which the fronts are ace, and will sit your lupo on the floor, however the rears even at their lowest sit really high... So what isit people do? do you just simply be a little sketchy and cut the springs? or are their replacements or certain different springs and dampers for the back from different makes that go lower? if so, where do you buy them?! Help would be much appreciated, cheers. Tom
