DMC
1. Was the weak pedal box on the Arosa ever upgraded? I have a 2004 Arosa 1.0 MPI (50k miles) and am just curious if I should budget for a possible replacement of the pedal box at some stage. I think I may have read that the later cars had a stronger box but I'm not sure if that's the case.2. The clutch biting point is very high on my car (but clutch is working fine). That is not a problem per se but I bought the car for my GF to learn in and she finds other cars much easier to drive due to the clutch biting point. Has anyone successfully lowered the biting point of their clutch by adjusting the clutch cable? If so, could you explain exactly how it is done? Many thanks. lupo1.0se
1. No they where not upgraded. I have heard them go at 25000 or 100000miles. But it is a big job none the less.
DMC
Okay, thanks. I'll keep an eye on it and be prepared to fork out for a replacement at some stage.Do you know if it's possible to replace the original one with a stronger pedal box? DMC
I did find a thread in relation to adjusting the clutch cable here:http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=16242&hlUnfortunately the pictures are no longer available so I'm still unsure about how to do it. Very strong. It's a big job for a novice, but if you've got any decent experience of DIY car jobs, you can do it.

Is from another model?
