Vwlup0
Thanks mate I bought some kw v1's; second hand but I had them checked over before fitting. The handling is perfect. Silver!
Looking good on the KWs. One of us should get their RWs refurb end in black, then we could be opposites.

Vwlup0
So, after storing the lupo for 2-3 months, I decided to insure it for today. And all has gone wrong already.. The ignition barrel is stuck. And I smashed the windscreen.

mattarosa
Do they come off easily? I want to clean behind mine.
Vwlup0
Mine had snapped at the bottom, so it's just 2 10mm bolts through the top; they're quite tight though.
mattarosa
yeah I don't want to shear the bolts...
Vwlup0
Let the manifold get hot, then take out the bolts, that may help; just keep your hands clear
mattarosa
Whats supposed to hold it on at the bottom then?
Vwlup0
A 3rd 10mm bolt, but mine wasn't attatched at the bottom

chris260
Unfortunately my Lupo has gone now but if a silvery beige mini clubman flashes you then you know who it is.
Vwlup0
Not a lot to report- I lowered it more and realised it was a silly idea and raised it back up I've poorly fitted a momo steering wheel, which I won't show you Also as some of you may know I did break down on the way to ultimate dubs, which turned out to be the thermostat- all fixed and working! (For now) But I've been busy cleaning! My most recent shots: Also keep an eye out for me at GTI fest this weekend! I'll be entering my first show and shine! :s Thanks for looking!
