Davedex
I may have posted this in the wrong section firstly and maybe a moderator can remove the "wrong"one. My rev counter on my 1.0l year 2000 lupo is not going back to zero when the engine is turned off. It rests between 20 & 30 and when on tick over hovers just over the 30 mark. Obviously the engine is not doing this amount of revs.It suddenly started today for no reason. Can anyone help me please ?
HDH
Common problem. It will eventually go down on it's own as it will go down a bit every time you turn the engine off. Don't be tempted to turn it on and off again repeatedly in a short space of time as you might damage something.
