Revs rise when changing gears up

Hi guys,

I'm having a problem with my Arosa Sport.

Everytime I take my foot of the accelerator and put the clutch down immediatley after when changing up, the revs rise around 500 RPM.

This seems to happen when the engine warms up.

This is annoying as hell and it seems to be affecting the fuel consumption as well.

I've read about it online and it could be anything from a idle control valve to a split vacuum hose.

I just wanted to know if anyone else had this problem and if so, how did you sort it out.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I've just found out that this is not a problem at all, Seat have confirmed that it is a feature of the ecu, a synchronized rev-matching system that is designed to adjust the throttle for a smooth gear change.
