Kam Racing
were the coilovers for a non gti?
bg02gar
I got the fk streets, it's the top hole of the strut, there normally slotted holes and on these there not.. Well peed off
Jamesstrutt
Loosen off the bolts at the bottom of the coilovers Strutt and pull the hub towards you. That's what I did to get my camber the best I could before getting tracking and camber sorted at the garage. bg02gar
Theres no play at all mate, i need the hole on top to be slotted
matt123roll
Sounds like you have the non-gti coils as kam racing said, the GTi's have larger bolt holes to allow SOME camber adjustment, You can use a dremel to open up the holes or a file. bg02gar
There's not enough on the strut to file out, the holes are that close to each end , I need at least an extra 5mm . They'd end up dropping out. So does anyone know if there are specific coilovers for the gti? It's the fk street range. On the description at dpm performance it states Lupo 1.0, 1.4, 1.4TDi, GTi 1.6, 1.7SDi 10/97 No way they go on gti?
