st10587 Posted April 23, 2014 Report Share Posted April 23, 2014 Im in the process of trying to source a replacement gearbox for the lupo and im hitting a brick wall trying to find a sport gearbox. Anyone know the difference between the 75bhp etd gearbox and the 100bhp sport etb gearbox? Im guessing it will be ratios related rather than fitment but wondering if anyone can confirm? Dblock Posted April 24, 2014 Report Share Posted April 24, 2014 The 75bhp has a much better box IMO. Yes you lose the super close ratio's but your not sitting at 4krpm on the motorway. Ive got an awesome spread sheet i made (Bloody proud of it!) with all the available boxes and there ratios in Note the GTI boxes are different and wont fit.
