Hey guys, this is my thread of my car. My process of doing her up and that sorta jazz!

Anyway here's the baby when she came back home next to the civic 7B4ECA2C-1285-415A-8CF8-E5C574CE2E9B.jpg

She a 2002, 1.4 16 Sport R.

Done 69k miles when I picked he up.

She has an EML for lambda sensor and ABS just came on, but I know what it needs so parts ordered!

Gave her a good clean up and here she goes!

So I've had a very busy weekend doing bits and bobs to the little beastie while I wait for the parts to fix her! First things first the mirror caps were stonechipped to hell and were different shades of red so I have resprayed them gloss black and they look much much better IMO!

Then with the black gloss mirrors :)

Another thing I hated about the car was the a AROSA writing on the back and also the R badges were colour faded! Looks horrible so decided to take them off. I searched how to do it online, got a few tips then me and my cousin took a bash at it! I'm wielding the spatula 6AFC686F-5B81-4D41-AB1E-23547E8CDC97.jpg

After the badges were off there was a few bits of stubborn glue that T-cutted off! Few goes with T-cut and polish an it's pretty well blended, minus the 'O' in some light!

Personally I think this looks miles better!

I had a set of CADES EROS when I had my first lupo! They were still up the loft, all kerbed and in minging condition B7AB33E1-7ABA-4259-9F7D-D9A3589B5D56.jpg

After a good while sanding back and trying to get them as perfect as possible we applied the primer and if I wasn't going black, just the primer looks pretty snazzy!

Then we used a lighter grade sandpaper and did another coat of primer and sanded that again. Then it was time to do the gloss black and repeat the process followed by lacquer! Here's the end result.

And here it looks sitting next to the car!

I need new tires, hence not being fitted already :P

Cheers guys!

Just put an order away for a few bits and bobs for the car!

Some things I can do myself and something's I'll have to wait until my uncle helps me (he's a mechanic)

All will be slowly revealed as they arrive in the next few days :D

And also these baby's came in the post!

FK AK Street coilovers! Cheap an cheerful I know but it gets the job done!

Any problems lowering on 195/45/15s?

Debadged front grill today!

Since I have no clips or nothing it's held in place with evo stik and the little plastic grooves at the side!

Prefer this look, looks more aggressive!

Finally got these bad boys on!

Had to drive about 20 miles to go buy spigot rings as I only had 2.. Weirdly!

But none the less here you go!

Still gotta chuck the centre caps back in and give her a good clean!

But she's sorely needing lowered right down!

does the spoiler come standard on the 1.4 Sport or did you fit that yourself? and if you did fit it yourself is it a genuine Seat one or aftermarket?

What im confused with is there are two different slide pin kits and not sure which one I need!

Also, For my coilovers I just want to get new top mounts to save the hassle of ripping apart the old suspension. You can buy the mounts but what bolts/washers etc go along with it?

Servicing parts will be ordered today :D

Also swapping licence plate over!

I was thinking about keeping the standard lights but go over them with a light tint spray to make them a bit more dark? Dont fancy a red car with red taillights if you get me :)

Just finished putting the coilovers on the rear! Many rusty as hell bolts, lots of swear words and here's the result!

While I wait to get the right Allen key I decided to give the car a polish and give the engine bay a little clean!

Engine bay isn't brilliantly done but it's my first go at cleaning an engine up properly!

Never noticed my cat in the photo until I uploaded it :L
