RF51
I've just seen your other post about your car being a Cat CAre you going for a VIC check? If it is a VIC check, that means Vehicle Identity Check. The check takes around 5 minutes. All they check is that the chassis number on the car matches the one they have on DVLA records. And they charge you £50 for the privilege!Don't worry about a VIC check. It's nothing at all to do with the standard or quality of repair, it is just checking the numbers match up.Good Luck! I normaly let a solicitor sort it out. Why screw your insurance by having to declare a claim if its the other guys fault? Granted if you have to make a claim gainst say your car being stolen etc then yeah you gotta do it Edited April 16, 2014 by sandman

Granted if you have to make a claim gainst say your car being stolen etc then yeah you gotta do itEven if you're claiming against somebody else's insurance and they're 100% liable, you still have to declare it, it's all on a database. No matter what incidents you have while driving, you always have to report them to your insurance, if you don't, essentially your whole policy is void and a waste of money.
