ken.edgeworth
Just had my 98 seat arosa in for NCT and failed due to emissions. Readings were lambda...... 1.04 (not between .97 and 1.03)CO........ 0.47 (above .30%)HC....... 324ppm (above 200ppm) This was on retest and between tests i had fitted a whole new exhuast system complete with catalytic converter. Does anyone know what these readings mean and how i might fix the problem.
Defcon5
Change your coolant temp sensor, fill it with super unleaded and use at least half of the tank driving around with a heavy right foot.Does the car have any other engine mods?

Skezza
Take it for the old Italian tuneup beforehand. My old mechanic used to tell me that everytime.
