Dblock
Hi guys, I'm looking at a car tomorrow. Just found it tonight. Seems good and everything. its a 2001 X reg. I asked the seller if its the higher or lower tax but he didn't really know. Nice guy but he was from Hungry. Is there anyway to check if its £30 tax or not without going to look at the car? ( its about 1 hour away )

Dblock
Just barter it a grand cheaper and keep it for four years. Its already £950. but £30 tax makes a big difference to running costs.
Rich
If it's a TDI the running costs will more than make up for the minimal added expense.
Dblock
SDI's I'm looking at. Although widening it to cheap TDI's. It's not minimal as this is my second car. Need low cost tax insurance etc. I know what your saying it's not that expensive as its going to save you money but it is when you look at the big picture.
