GregGLupo
got the shafts back last Friday, hurt the pocket a bit but at least there done! Beefed up aswell so they should last! They got a quick sand blast on Saturday morning then fired into work and coated them up along with with the cv joints he also blasted! Fingers crossed the car should be going away this weekend for all the welding/fabrication work!

Appreciate the help rich but my pals just going to shorten manifold, plus it would mean having to get the IC pipe from p/s back over to d/s to the inlet! GregGLupo
Couple more bits worked on this weekend! Cut off bottom section on bumper and smoothed the swedge line over! Going to design and fab up a rear diffuser to suit!  and boy fae work smoothed over spoiler also which I'm toyling with the idea of getting carbon skinned! Got a reasonable quote for this by a boy fae down south!

Rich
personally, I don't like it. the line adds to the gti character i love, carries on around the whole car. removal as ever, makes cars look more generic.

If the bumper wasn't cut up, would have definitely kept the line but I thought it looked **** only having the line at the sides
