naaomix
I've just purchased a 1.4E 16V Lupo today, Does anyone know what best insurance quotes are for someone who's 17 & just passed their test as I am getting insurance quotes around £3000!
Defcon5
Just go through all he comparison sites and ring every one else. Stuff like adding an older driver, parking the car on the roadside will often lower premiums
matt123roll
What Defcon said is the best advice, no one here can advise as your circumstances are different to everyone elses. Elephant, admiral and diamond are cheap for me at the minute. (they are all the same underwriter i believe). Add older named drivers, limit your miles to around 5/6k, park on the roadside and unusually saying the car has no immob/alarm makes it cheaper. Also paying upfront is much cheaper with some companies. Good luck
naaomix
Okay thanks ill try that and see what I get back on quotes
Defcon5
Didn't know that re the alarm/immob, can't think why it would be the vase either tbh?

Making the risk less haha, or that it's less to replace should something go wrong. I guess it's proof they make things up to inflate prices

Defcon5
Yeah they have changes the law and made it so they can't incorporate gender into their risk algorithms
VolkswagenDan
All quotes have gone up. its a fact. Get the cheapest you can then accept it and pay for it. theres nothing you can do about it and you need to have insurance. unfortunately something compulsory like car insurance isnt regulated (very well) and therefore we get mugged off. welcome to the UK.
