how do you debadge a car

The badges are stuck on with double sided trim tape, which has a centre of "foam".

Cut through with dental floss and then clean the remaining tape off with sticky stuff remover.

The VW badges are a different kettle of fish, at least on the Lupo as they sit in a recess. Other than that they are just fitted with trim tape.

Not sure about he Up! though.

Nope Jan im at sixth form mate! was removing the drivers side with difficulty asked the neighbour whos a builder and he said here try this squirted of down the side of my door i **** my self thinking **** what if it fetches paint off . left it 30 seconds and then uses a plastic ice scraper and it came straight off
