them AP's are pretty awesome for the price.

ill tell him to get them for the fact they seem to be a good review from what iv read on hear and other sites. and i cant find many reviews on the apex rdx ones and he was going to get them for £372.30.

so for the sake of £12.70 he may as well get AP's and will upto 70mm be low-enough with 8j with a decent stretch for him ?

cheers for your help dude

They go plenty low. 8J is pushing it on the front, what diameter are we talking?

Poverty spec ftw

Nah it's worth the extra couple of ton if you can stretch tbf, they'll last longer.

could be a daft question but do these http://www.dpmperformance.co.uk/vogtland-tec-line-coilover-suspension-kitbr-lupo-10-14-14tdi-gti-16-17sdi-1098-p-8058.html convert the rear springs on the back axle into the strut on the absorber like the polo 6n2 with independent suspension or is it nothing like the picture haha the just look mint like that and would reduce body roll loads having the spring and shock closer to the rear wheels :D

That's the inox kit, the basics are £535 http://www.awesomegti.com/car/vw/lupo/kw-coilovers-variant-1-basic-lupo-6e-6x-04-98

Nah that's a stock photo, Lupos & Arosas are a separate spring & shock setup on the rear so that's what you'll get.

Y'know I did think that, cheaper the better if you actually want a harsh ride really

i think he is getting the kw v1 basic.

he is wanting 13x8j mattigs

so basically he wants to slam it and have the comfort but no body roll so they don't slice the tyres in harsh cornering .

The solution is get some kw v1 coils and just dont corner hard thats all i can say to him haha :D

as of the joms you may as well spend a little more to save alot for when the seals go and piss hydro fluid every were possibly causing break fail and a crash haha

I ran AP's for a 18 months. They were nice over bumps, but too soft for me. The seals went, which i thought was abit of a bummer, but not the end of the world. They were just out of warranty and when i tried to buy a seal kit, they wouldn't sell me one, you have to send the whole shock unit back to AP in Germany, then they fit new inserts and charge you £350!
