m1cr08472 Posted October 11, 2012 Report Share Posted October 11, 2012 Check for steam coming out the exhaust, bear in mind sometimes condensation builds up in the exhaust over night and blows out steam for a while after you start the car but if its always blowing steam there must be water getting into the exhaust from the cylinders.Check the dip stick for small deposits of water and mayo on the top of the stick and oil cap.My headgaskets gone and I get a lot of oil building up in the top of the header tank and its starting to lose more and more water as the cold weather sets in. lupo1.0SEyellow Posted October 12, 2012 Author Report Share Posted October 12, 2012 Had it in today, turns out there is a leak in the radiator.As for belts defcon5 i've done the cam belt but thats it, nothing needs doing as it stands.Cheers for your help lads!
