(Bluewater meet)Excuse the crappy quality of this but i wanted to try a bonnet bra on, and luckily jay had one to lend me Since then i've had some bad luck, as in wrecked the bottom of my car + exhaust completely as well as taking chunks from my front bumper, as of which i have sold my fk highsports which i couldn't adjust as they are a bit unlooked after. But here's some more pics of the car with my girlfriends car whilst im doing the suspension.I have more progress on my phone etc but i will upload in time. I will post plans if asked.Look forward to hear from you! Edited November 10, 2012 by Brad1992

Koop
Not massively into bras (on cars anyway), but I'm of the opinion you should wear your VW badge with pride
Brad1992
Hmm, Very true, i do quite like the badge, alike to you i'm going for black and red, but i love bonnet bra's so before anything else a bra is due! haha

Brad1992
i noticed that the front wheels tend to angle in when its lowered, but i have standard suspension and the cambers sorted itself! haha and that picture of my car the wheels are turned too so its a wierd angle! Brad1992
Ahh, progress at last as the weather has held out!started sorting out the stone chips that have plagued my once yellow front bumper, as when a stone hits the black, bang, it becomes yellow (thanks the the person who didn't paint it properly) so i attacked it with some bodyfiller and you'll see exactly how bad it was..First passsneaky sneaky smooth hiding and a little more touching on the other side after a little sandingGetting there..After another load of sandingGetting nice and smoothA little more work and it'll be time to sort the indicator panel and some paint!(gotta smooth ridge around grills and reposition my numberplate which has bent being in my window!just incase you call me slow for doing all this.. i have to do it by hand as my neighbour works nights and is fast asleep and VERY grumpy
Brad1992
oh and excuse the mega 4x4 mode, i sold my fk highsports as it was too low for around here, gonna lower it a bit with smaller springs to shut down on the archgap but i need it high to get over the bumps, i'll get a pic of a bump vs my standard height car for you all soon! Brad1992
thanks for the feedback, not plastic weld, just some resin/fibre glass fibres - not meant to be amazing, i've never done anything like this and my bumper was already ruined, i'll get a standard one if it doesn't look right
Koop
I've liked seeing your progress on the bumper mate how far off painting are we you reckon?
