Isashi
Hey Guys, fairly new to this shin dig but has anyone tried running a Lupo 1.0 lowered 60mm on 12" minilites? not sure if the drive shaft will start fouling on the chassis?Any help appreciated! Thanks
Koop
Dunno if anyone's tried 12" minilites I'd really like to see it done! I would think you'd be ok as far as drive shaft clearance goes as 60mm isn't a massive drop, you may find you need more of a drop to get away with such a small wheel looks wise though & caliper clearance could be an issue (might be able to sort that with spacers though depending on the offset)
Bove
If they clear, I'll think you'll need to go a little lower than 60 just to make it looks right.
treblet
It'll look like a rollerskate... That is if you can even get 12" wheels over the brake calipers, 13" wheels only just clear the calipers as it is.
scotty_82
It will bottom out before it even looks right
Isashi
Thanks for the help guys, I'm not sure but is there any chance that i could get these to it? Edited April 18, 2012 by Isashi
Koop
Assuming they're 15x7 ET37 not the 18" versions, probably. 4x100 - 5x112 PCD adaptors would be required & the high offset leaves a bit of room for them. Probably need rolled arches and/or stretched tyres.
treblet
Not to mention 4x100 to 5x112 adaptors are horrifically expensive!
Koop
Yeah loads of oem wheels seem like a great idea til you factor in the adaptors they do come up second hand occasionally though
