Pippard 1.0
Hi I turned 18 in december, my insurance is up for renewal on 1st of April been driving a yearI have a 1.0 e lupo got a quote for £1333.57 with declared modifications ( Lowered, different alloys, wider wheels, sports exhaust, tinted windows and uprated brakes ) I was really surprised as I had a coop tracker for a year and I didn't get any no claims bonus, the insurance is with elephant, thought it was a great quote and I would share it to my fellow lupo owners
matt123roll
Great quote! Was this online or over the phone? Currently on the co op tracker myself paying £800 on my own policy but no mods allowed and not really ready to risk invalidating insurance with undeclared mods.Have friends who have had a policy thats £1500 but as soon as coilovers were mentioned it went up to around £3000 :/

SIMONG
try a company called greenlight really cheap but you can only do online quotes which you have to wait for a reply for but far cheaper than others such as brentache

JoeA
If it was your own policy and you have been driving for a year with no claims, you can ask for it! NFU gave me 1 years NCB and i was a named driver for that year.
Stockle
try a company called greenlight really cheap but you can only do online quotes which you have to wait for a reply for but far cheaper than others such as brentacheyou need to be 21 to insure with greenlightnot sure what you guys are trying with elephant but my quote was £3800 third party, driving for 6 months but no noclaims? not in a high risk area (DL 5)Kieranand same without mods :l and im 19 with 1 year and 8 months of driving
tom3112
you need to be 21 to insure with greenlightand same without mods :l and im 19 with 1 year and 8 months of drivingI'm 18, no ncb, 1 years driving, fault claim and my insurance is 1100, no mods. Declaring coilies & alloys doesn't make a massive difference for me. That's with admiral
katiepollard
Try a company called brentacre, they don't do online quote you have to phone up but they specialise in insuring modified cars, my boyfriend wanted a 106 rallye and a lot of companies wouldn't cover him due to the modifications on the car were too hig risk, so he found out about this brentacre and quoted him with 1200 for it which was really good as the companies that would quote him were asking for ridiculous amounts just thought you could try these
