Mk3 lupo gti
Hey all, we're thinking of getting air ride on our next project, has anyone got or had it? If so how does the it handle? I won't be using it on track days but just wondering how it handled compared to coileys?Any help or advice would be great! Thank u
shaunandez
It handles great when you spend the cash on a decent set up. The cheaper stuff is obviously not going to be as good. My set up is awesome and the guy who fitted it is running a similar system on his 620hp Rs4
Deadmetal
As above, if set up properly Air can handle just as well as good coilovers. As with any suspension componets, cheaper stuff won't be as good as expensive stuff.

Koop
I was about to suggest hydros then saw the man who's actually got them getting in there lol join the revolution Similar setup cost to air wasn't it?
Piers
Hydro's are slightly cheaper from what i know... not much cheaper tho!Air handles pretty well... been in Shauns (shaunandez) a few times and its good... been in other cars on air and they are really smooth. the key is to run them at the right height to get the most comfort... too high = too much air and too hard... too low = no air to take the bumps. Piers
Mine handles pretty good on the air. still getting used to it so not giving it much. dont think i will anyway to be honest. its certainly a smoother ride than coilovers. it depends how much pressure you put in the bags tho
