Nice work on this car so far mate! Keep up the good work!

I'm sure this is going to look great once you get your bits fitted, along with your new starlite wheels!

Cheers Gav

Small update this evening:

No coil overs on today unfortunately, the cold weather put a stop to it! :(

However, a couple of stickers in preparation :PIMG_0277.jpg

Got the plates on:

Made the slow progress more worth it by finally sorting out the sidelight feed for the interior light! :D

That's all for this evening!

In reply to mitch-loop, I got my pressed plates from dubmeister.co.uk

Think they're one of the only legal suppliers, as they print the postcode of their business on the plates (required by law apparently). They're £30 for the pair, but it's worth it IMO. Makes it look better!

I love this car, the colour and the mods you have done, quality products and look forward to seeing what wheels you will be choosing. Keep up the good work mate :)

Just a couple of pics today to keep the weekend updates moving:

As you can see, the lows are desperately needed! Just have to find some time to fit them :(

Thanks for the kind comments everyone!

Edit: Was wondering if anyone on here is going to UD next month? Me and a friend are thinking of going (all parts will be fitted by then), if anyone from the surrounding Bristol area is keen to convoy up? Could be a good one!

Finally got the coilovers fitted this weekend! After the rain had stopped we made pretty good progress, apart from one rusted bearing which was needed, taking about an hour and a half of wd-40 and elbow grease to free it!

Got the backs down as far as they will go with the adjusters in at the moment, and the fronts have about 70mm of play left in them I think. Will be re-adjusting the height when my Starlites finally get back from the refurbishers, as the lower profile tyres will affect things.

Already scrubbing though, so am experiencing my first lows!

Couldn't resist finding a couple of Loops and Arosa's to have a shot with (Do the cars belong to anyone on here?)

Welcome any suggestions and comments as always, hope to see some of you at UD!
