atomica
Hellojust wondering what type/size anybody uses lens wise for car photography ?
Silver!
A good wide angle for car shows is handy so you can get in close to cut out all the people or take funky distorted images. And a longer range is usefull for those candid shots...I use a Tamron 18-270mm on my EOS450D body.I would like a 10-20/10-24 but they are quite expensive and it's only a hobby. That said, my savings are burning a hole in my pocket, so if I see a 2nd hand one for a reasonable price...
Pete
Sigma 10mm. Go hard or go home. Not cheap, but it gets great results. Although I'm yet to use it for landscapes yet.

Philplop
A wide angle is nice for busy car shows, 10-22 on a crop sensor or 16-35mm on a full frame.Although this year at Edition I got my favourite shots by waiting til the end of the show when most people had gone home, and getting some from a distance with a 100mm Macro.
