Deadmetal
You could what pretty much every one else does and see what wheels are out there in correct sizes and see if they're in budget.See here:http://www.rimstyle....els;model=13070Over 400 different wheels you can choose from. You can even filter sizes and colours. Wont take long to fins a set of wheels you like.
Silver!
I say start with coilovers. Even on standard wheels and trims getting the stance correct will much improve the looks and, brand dependant, the handling of the car.You have many, many OEM 4x100 wheels available from the VAG range which will give good returns for the £, but maybe you should wait 'til next year and use the winter to look around the forums and show reports for a little inspiration. As for wheels which need ada[pters, I would recommend as a beginner you stay clear; unless tyou have someone to help you work out offsets and adapter widths etc, as you may find yourself wrecking arches and tyres. RBR RS6
what is the standard ET and at what rim width, then what ET and rim width do people go to?I am looking at a 1.4 16v sport and would like to put Bathurst on. I assume the GTi has different discs and maybe hubs so where would I stand with offset?
