BlackLupoLad
As it says really. They quoted me £140 extra to add some alloys, so looking to get some steels instead, but as they arent standard ones for the Lupo, should the insurance company be informed? Thanks

pieface
Insurance companies will find any loophole whenever they can. A friend of mine had to go through court proceedings as he was involved in a RTC (that wasn't his fault), but the insurance refused to pay out as the wheels that were on there were 16" and not the standard 15". However, he wasn't aware of this, and as far as he was aware, the 16" steels (with manufacture hubcaps) were standard. In the end, justice saw true and the insurance company was ordered to pay the full amount plus compensation for time wasting and court fee's.Any little thing you change on your car, needs to be informed to your insurance company

Not only that, it had a zorst, intercooler, dump valve, 17's,coillies and a border body kit and it wasnt even the colour it should have been.It was insured as a standard MR2 GT non turbo.I crashed it and the insurance assesor said it was worth £5k and it only owed me £2.5k. They paid out with no questions asked. That was Admiral. Edited August 19, 2011 by Cooper_GTI

Bikerz
I been lucky too. At 16 I had a RS50 loads of stuf fnothing decleared (didnt really realise when your 16 you should) and it was reversed over and I was paid out no problem (he bike was parked so mods made no difference). However with cars I have always decleared everything and never had a accidnet *touch wood*

At the end of the day, i drive like nob, i know i do, i accpet the fact that people will hate me for doing it and call me irresponsible, but i've never crashed a car, as i go out in the early hours to do it and hit single track lanes where nobody will be.I'm willing to take critisism and i dont think it's big and clever, i just really enjoy driving fast! But this is the reason i can't have springs falling out on me!!! Lol
