hey,

Set out to get my first car last month, and on the first day of looking I bought me a lupo.

Nothing too special, one owner, 65k on clocks & tidy inside

After viewing some of the cars on here I can easily say I cannot afford to be modifying my car too much ATM.

wouldn't mind some new alloys mind.. & some friendly advice and tips cool.gif

So yeah, i went to my uncles today and got some free stuff from some of his old cars. Audio stuffs!

2x Polk 6x9s

2x Polk component speakers

1x ken-wood amplifier (Sub amp)

1x Phoenix Gold M25 amp

And aload of free shielded wiring.

Ive been told this stuff is worth alot of money, (£500 ish new)

but either way it was free and i cannot complain. Some pictures up soon, and a thread this evening about tips and stuff for wiring

I however do need some more things before it all goes in,

Gamma head unit,

RCA outs for Gamma unit,

Sub

But all in good time.

i will probably sort out the door speakers first, then build a nice parcel shelf etc.

if anyone has more info on this equipment that would be great :)

James, if you have decent 6x9s do you really need a sub???

That's overkill perhaps? - Subs are for movies not music. For a decent sound you want a good, neutral system.... louder does not mean better :)

Yeah, me and my friend gave my car a good wash and polish today :)

Proper snow-foam,

2 bucket wash

Polish

Quick Detailer rub down &

Hard Wax :)

along with Meguires tyre shine and AG glass polish.

Fair play I was pretty peeved at my car due to some issues with a battery terminal and some speakers.

along with another blow in my exhaust and my service indicator telling me it needs a service.

but after today I feel much more positive :)

(Photos taken with ipod :o )
